She disguised under the masked appearance of perfect self confidence, sincerity, and innocence. But just take a good look at her, her twisted face (from all the evil she delights to inflict and so sickly enjoys), and the manifested actions and behavior in her official and personal roles during those acts and performances.
It is clear to me, and to many who remain Constitutional and decent, how Trump always attempts to nominate and commission the already prominent demons he knows very well are in charge of past destructive, malevolent acts and achievements, and already present in official governmental capacities and positions throughout the American political and governmental arenas.
And because of his own fiendish success and Ceasarian absolutism, Trump feels that just by naming them they will automatically be designated into his proposed official positions. Congress and the Senate, in particular, are the only possible restraining overseers and "saviors" of the remaining, barely surviving good features of the genuine United States of America.
Let us just continue to hope and contend that they will in fact do their own jobs of authentic oversight and protection of the Good left in the land and its People.
If we should mythologize just a wee bit, we would then clearly see how... it is Trump as the devil himself now trying to surround himself with all the demons dispersed throughout the political structures, just waiting at his feet to be named and to serve him and his surreptitious, veiled plans.
Thus, it becomes truly crucial and relevant to get Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's Haspel-revealing document and information first into the Senate Committee's hands and scrutiny, and then into public view and consciousness.

"The New York Times reported last week that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, was waterboarded 183 times in one month by CIA interrogators. The "183 times" was widely circulated by news outlets throughout the world. It was shocking. And it was highly misleading. --Apr 28, 2009"src: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/04/28/despite-reports-khalid-sheikh-mohammed-waterboarded-times.html
"Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, 9-11 planner tortured by the CIA, asks to tell senators about Trump's nominee Gina Haspel"
"In the weeks after his capture, an Intelligence Committee report said, Mohammed was subjected to the suffocation technique called waterboarding 183 times over 15 sessions, stripped naked, doused with water, slapped, slammed into a wall, given rectal rehydrations without medical need, shackled into painful stress positions and sleep-deprived for about a week by being forced to stand with his hands chained above his head." —May 9, 2018
Hey, Gina Haspel, you don't call this torture?
"Having served in that tumultuous time, I can offer you my personal commitment, clearly and without reservation, that under my leadership CIA will not restart such a detention and interrogation program."
"Haspel ran a black-site prison in Thailand in late 2002 while a detainee being held there, Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, who is accused of orchestrating Al Qaeda's attack on the American destroyer Cole off the coast of Yemen in 2000, was subjected to torture techniques including waterboarding. She was also involved in destroying [the] videotapes of interrogation sessions in 2005."
"The American people deserve transparency regarding the background of a nominee who will be asked to represent them, and their values, around the world."
"This month, four Democratic senators on the Intelligence Committee — Kamala D. Harris and Dianne Feinstein, both of California; Ron Wyden of Oregon; and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico — wrote to Daniel Coats, the director of national intelligence, asking him to declassify all CIA information related to Haspel's involvement in the program before her hearing, since she, as acting director of the agency, has declined to do so on her own."
"The American people deserve transparency regarding the background of a nominee who will be asked to represent them, and their values, around the world," they wrote, adding, "Without making this information available to the American people, Haspel's nomination cannot be fully and properly considered by the Senate."

---"The balancing act meant her answers sometimes grew tangled under pointed questioning. She pledged to follow her 'moral compass' in the future, but declined to say whether she believed previous CIA practices were immoral. She said she supports laws that outlaw torture, but said the harsh interrogations were permitted under legal guidance at the time."
"Her testimony failed to satisfy Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), an avowed critic of torture who is being treated for brain cancer in Arizona. The former Navy pilot was tortured as a prisoner of war after he was shot down over North Vietnam in 1967, and human rights activists have urged him to speak out against Haspel.
In a statement, McCain said Haspel is 'a patriot who loves our country' but 'Her refusal to acknowledge torture's immorality is disqualifying.' ..."
White House Comminications Aide, Kelly Sadler, "joked" in a staff meeting that McCain's rejection of Mr. Trump's CIA pick:
"It doesn't matter. He's dying anyway."
The intelligence committee approved her 10-5. With several Democrats backing Haspel, she looks headed for confirmation in the full Senate despite her role in the CIA's waterboarding program.
If that's what you want, that's just what you'll get.
